Free vs Pro, trials and keys

Free vs Pro, trial ended
Free = one class, every feature, 3 recordings a week. Pro removes both limits. When a trial or key lapses you drop to Free — you never lose a single note. Settings → License always says in plain words why you're on Free.
Free
One class, every feature, 3 recordings per rolling 7 days (live or imported). Creating a second class needs Pro.
Several classes from the trial? Tentaku asks “Which class do you want as your Free class?” — you can also pick early during the trial with “Choose my Free class”. The others turn read-only: everything in them stays yours — open, search and read it, review its flashcards, export it, move documents out or delete it — but no recording, imported recordings, new documents or new AI builds there. A locked action shows “🔒 <class> is read-only on Free”, with a button to go Pro or to make it your Free class when a switch is allowed. Your first pick doesn’t count as a switch; after that you can switch once every 30 days. Nothing is ever deleted, and going Pro unlocks everything again.
The 14-day Pro trial
Every new install starts a 14-day Pro trial — no card. Three days before it ends, one card tells you the date and lets you choose your Free class early or go Pro; close it and it doesn’t come back. The trial is granted once per computer. The header shows “✨ Pro trial · Nd left”. When it ends you drop to Free and keep every file.
Apply a Pro key
Your Pro key is in your email from Lemon Squeezy (subject includes “Tentaku”). Open Tentaku → Settings → License → paste the key → Apply. The badge turns to “Pro ✓ · Pro — Year” (or your plan). A key covers 2 computers. To move it: on the old computer, Settings → License → Apply with an empty box, which frees the seat.
Tentaku checks the key with Lemon Squeezy at every launch and every 24 hours while it’s open. Offline, Pro keeps working for up to 7 days or 20 launches, whichever comes first (3 days for a Semester key past its end date); after that Pro pauses until the next successful check, then comes back by itself. A refunded or disabled key ends Pro at the next check — never in the middle of a recording. If Pro ever stops, Settings → License says why. Plans and prices: Pricing.
